Psychological Services
PMRC’s team of clinical psychologists provide psychological services to a wide variety of clients including the health and legal professions, Commonwealth and ACT Territory Government Departments, Employers, Insurers and individuals in Canberra and the surrounding regions.
Our expert services include individual and family counselling, treatment of mood disorders, pain management, chronic illness and disability support, medico/legal assessments, pre-employment psychological screening and Employee Assistance Programs. Our psychologists have a strong background in organisational and vocational psychology, as well as expertise in personal counselling and pain management techniques.
We use a variety of recognised psychological methods, including cognitive behavioural therapy, mindfulness and interpersonal therapy. PMRC psychological services are registered with the Better Outcomes in Mental Health Programme and provide services under the Medicare chronic care service.
